Some time back, the Adult Bible Class was studying Manners and Customs of Bible Lands and the lesson for the day dealt with Religion in the home. While preparing to teach, I noticed the interesting wording of the following portion of God’s Word.

1 Samuel 1:3  And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the LORD of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there.

Note: Unfaithful ‘ministers’ did not quench the faith of those that loved God and that trusted in His Word.  No excuses!
